The Valley Police Department prides
itself on having a well trained, professional law enforcement agency. The
Police Department provides 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, emergency and
non-emergency response to the citizens of Valley. The Police Department
continues to work directly with the citizens of Valley to keep our
community a safe and enjoyable place to live. The Valley Police Department consists of 14 full and part-time Officers to serve our city. Our Police Department is dispatched out of the Douglas County 911 Emergency Center at 156th Street and Maple Road, Omaha, Nebraska. Valley's law enforcement team is made up of an Investigative Unit, a Community Service Officer, and a K-9 Unit, named Buddy.In a months time, the Valley Police Department has been known to respond to approximately 3 to 400 calls per month. Our Police Department assists area agencies to include an 'Inter-Local Agreement'. This agreement applies to Valley, Waterloo, Bennington, Elkhorn, and The Douglas County Sheriffs' Department.
