How
to get things you don’t have…I am not promoting the stealing of material
things.
This page is to
help guide the desperately single get the right moves to catch the eye of the
person he or she is doting. I am
not guaranteeing these suggestions will bag your crush every time, but they may
give you the opportunity to get their attention. If there are any suggestions,
email them to ajeanwood@hotmail.com.
For
the guys out there trying to bag the hot babe:
1.
Chivalry
is not dead. Opening the door for a girl, pulling out a chair for her, opening
her car door before you open yours, giving compliments, buying flowers for
her…all of these shows that you want her to feel special.
2.
Talk.
She may talk your ear off because she wants you to talk back. Tell her about
your youth, likes, dislike, and anything else you feel is important to you.
Don’t be afraid to speak your mind.
3.
Keep
up your appearance. Not showering for a few days? Forgot to change your two day old socks?
Didn’t comb your hair today? Forget about the girl tomorrow. Buy good smelling
cologne…girls love smelling boy.
4.
Do
something she’ll remember you for. Be the guy who talked in class or who has the
irresistible scent. A good one is to always say hi to her and smile, girls
remember sincerity.
5.
If
she’s in your class try to sit by her. Pair up with her for projects, study
together, or ask her questions about the homework assignments. If you can’t
manage that at least say hi.
6.
Smile.
Smiling shows that you are genuine. It causes your eyes to sparkle, and your
mouth look kissable. Plus you can lift any bad mood. Just
smile.
7.
Learn
her name. If she has a nickname, find out her real name. Ask if it is okay if
you can call her by her real name.
8.
Make
the first move. Ask her to hangout, go for a walk, or plan a study date and
dinner. Be creative. Sometime the more active the activity the
better.
9.
Don’t
ditch your friends for her. When you like a girl, you want to spend time with
her. But she should understand if you have guy things planned with your friends.
Spending too much time together won’t allow you to recharge
yourself.
10.
Use
your connections. Have your friends introduce you. Ask friends about her and
find out some initial information, it may better prepare you for a conversation
with her in the future. The only problem is your friends may insist that it was
their doing that you two got together. It’s a small price to pay
though.
For
the girl after the stud:
1.
Don’t
be afraid to day hi to him. Saying hi is a great conversation starter, and try following it up with a compliment. For example: “Hi Sean.
I really like your shirt.” It never hurts anyone to say
hi.
2.
Take
compliments and give them back. When you receive a compliment don’t say that it
isn’t true. If the guy says something nice it means he really notices something
about you. Take it and say thank you. Don’t be stingy on compliments for him
too. He feels as insecure as you do, so compliment him on something that
attracts you to him.
3.
Listen,
He has things to say too. Do you find yourself to one talking all the time? Ask
him some questions, but don’t grill him as if you are an FBI agent. When you say
something about what you like or your childhood, ask if he has memories or likes
on the same subject.
4.
Keep
up your appearance. Feel like wearing sweats today for class? Think again. If
you want a guy to notice you, you have to make your appearance noticeable. Don’t dress like you do on weekends when you are scouting for
men, but take the time to do something different with your hair, spray some
perfume, or assemble a cute day outfit the night before.
5.
Do
something that will make him remember you. Your scent, your sense of fashion,
the questions you ask in class…these all can leave a good impression in his
memory.
6.
Smile!
He wants to see your eyes sparkle. Smiling is a great way to make anyone feel
comfortable around you.
7.
Be
assertive and not a stalker. Don’t be afraid to make the first move and ask him
out, but don’t step over the stalker boundaries. If he always finds an excuse
not to be with you then that might be a hint that it is not meant to
be.
8.
Don’t
ditch your friends. Your girlfriends will always be there for you. A guy may
limit your time with friends, but don’t allow him to control who your friends
are.
9.
Use
your connections. Have friends work their magic and set you and your flame up on
a date. Plus have your friends talk you up, but only using truthful
information.
10.
Be
yourself. I know it is cliché to say this, but if you really think about it the
phrase makes sense. Why pretend to be someone you are not. If he can’t see what
a great person you are then he’s the one missing out on you not you with
him.
