SYNOPSIS:

The Pianist is the biography of Polish composer and musician Wladysaw Szpilman. He uses the Piano as a way to escape the horror and fear of World War II. Forced to live in the Warsaw ghetto, he finds hope through the suffering. He escapes the ghetto to live in the ruins of the capital and continues to play his piano. A german officer later comes to his aid to help him survive through one of the biggest wars of our time. Based on a true story The Pianist tells of Wladysaw's love of music and his love for his country.
