Raccoon Catchers
Hi. I'm a raccoon catcher, or as my father says "raccoon hunter". My family has had raccoons living in our roof since my parents moved in and they just never realized to a few years ago. We got an exterminator to plant traps on our porch roof for $600-700 a month(not sure of exact price). That was charged whether or not they caught a raccoon, so my father wised up and told them to get the traps off the roof the day after they were set. Now, this winter of 2003, the raccoons are back after moving out and boy to they make NOISE.
Some nights, me and my brothers have trouble sleeping because we hear them scratching or even sometimes talking(or whatever the wierd noise I hear is.). It makes our dog go nuts. So my father decided it was time to trap them. I'm the one who climbs out the window onto the porch roof since it's not totally slanted. I set traps on the roof with bait and we wait. We caught a kid raccoon and now, 3-4 weeks later, on December 21st, 2003, we caught a parent raccoon. I didn't think about getting pictures of the 1st raccoon we caught so I made sure to get pictures and boy did I get alot.
It was a really entertaining morning, I spent 5-15 minutes on the roof getting good pictures of the raccoon and getting it on film. I have some of the pictures on this website since I got them from a digital camera. I think my mother filmed me and my father working together on getting the raccoon off the roof. Although, that isn't the exciting part. My dog actually got into a little fight with the raccoon! Now, that's something. I think we got it on tape and if I can get a cable to connect the camcorder to the computer, I'm going to put in on this site. Anyhow here are the pictures:
I think we finally got rid of all the raccoons :).

Squirrels Caught : 9-11(in that range)
Birds Caught : 2
ONLY SECOND SQUIRREL HAS PICTURES TAKEN.
