motorcycles - more annoying
than they are fun to look at

I am a little annoyed, scratch that, a lot annoyed with motorcycles.  Why is it that everyone who owns a motorcycle feels the need to make it rumble, interrupting what I am watching on tv.  Seriously, get a life, that rumbling has got to be doing damage to your hearing and it is annoying to anyone who has to interrupt what they are doing because you feel the needs for vibrations between your legs.

Here's another thought.  If a car has glasspacks, no muffler, etc, they can be ticketed by the police.  Motorcycles, stock from the manufacturer, are louder than I have ever heard a glasspack on a car ever be.  Why can motorcycles get away with it when cars can't.  That's discrimination.

Air breaks, or 'jake breaks' are they are commonly referred to on semi's cannot be used within the city limits of most cities.  I would rather hear that than a motorcycle rumbling outside my apartment.

Here is my message to motorcyclists: STOP THE SHOWING OFF.  I am annoyed.  You have successfully annoyed me by your stupid mufflers and loud rumblings.  Now stop it. 

Now there are two reasons I am looking forward to the cooler months.  1) I am going to be able to breath and 2) No motorcycles to annoy me while I am on the phone or watching tv.
