Game Notes:
Schwan's USA Cup came to an abrupt end for the Kenosha Thunder this morning in Blaine, Minnesota. The Thunder were defeated 7-0 by CSC Celtic from Kansas City, Missouri. In a quarterfinal match in the "A" Playoff of Trophy Flight that opened up with 28 scoreless minutes, CSC Celtic would find the net seven times, the most given up by the Thunder this year. The scoreline is really no sign of the Thunder's heart and the quality of players they are. Today was just not their day, and unfortunately in the elimination rounds at USA Cup, there are no second chances.... until next year?!?! The Thunder season has come to an end. The Thunder finished with a record of 8-6-6. For the complete season recap, click here. For the complete Schedule & Results, click here.
