Sun Prairie HS Cheerleading is dedicated to the
betterment of young people's lives through the sport of cheerleading. Our
philosophy is based on the basic premises of dedication, commitment, teamwork
and work ethic. We believe that by creating a positive environment and
constantly challenging team members to exceed their previous best, we can teach
life lessons that will serve team members throughout their lives.
In 2001-2002, Sun Prairie HS will field eight
cheerleading squads that will serve nearly 80 members. With a dedicated staff,
booster club and, most importantly, team members, SPHS cheerleading will once
again embark upon a journey into the world of cheerleading, challenging
themselves to exceed their previous best and to continually bring pride and
honor to Sun Prairie HS.
Thank you to everyone who supports our
efforts!

Please excuse the sudden "messiness" of our site. Seems that our free web site provider has decided to replace some of our graphics with ads, and in doing so, messed up much of the formatting of our pages! Please bear with me as I work to fix this!

run right out and get yourself a copy! The front page is graced with
a large color picture of our Coed Team performing at the UPA Americup
Championship in Minneapolis, and is accompanied by a long article based on
an interview with Coed coach Steve Powers! There's another picture
on page 7 of the Champion Coed team! Thank you to the Star

The
second annual CARDINAL CLASSIC was great fun for all who
particpated! In spite of Mother Nature's best efforts to interfere
with the biggest blast of wintry weather we've had all season, she
couldn't cool the enthusiasm of all the hardy cheerleaders, dancers,
parents, and spectators who came out to enjoy the event! Thank you
to all the teams, coaches, judges, parents, and everyone who ventured out
to attend the Cardinal Classic, and congratulations to all our
participants! |

If
anyone has pictures from the classic they'd like to share on our site,
please contact Linda.

The
Coed team, in conjunction with Badger All-Star Cheernastics, gave an
awesome exhibition performance last night at the Kohl Center during half
time of the UW Women's Basketball game! Even though the exhibition
didn't make the taped-delay broadcast of the game on TV, those of us who
were there were amazed at the performance, which received a nice standing
ovation from the Badger crowd! Hopefully, we'll have pictures coming
soon! |
