Destiny Lived was created November 5, 2004 by a male witch from North East Tennessee who was tired of not being able to meet witches or pagans in his area.  He tried to meet people through other witch and pagan focused sites but to little or no avail.  One day he had an idea, to start his own group on Yahoo! Groups that catered to a specific group of people in a specific area.  His goal was to help others meet like minded individuals and help them learn more about the craft.  At first he thought that it would be to no avail, but in little over two months the group has more than 325 members.

What is Destiny Lived?

    It is a Yahoo! Group that is open to any self proclaimed practitioner of Wicca, a witch, or pagan living in the Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia.  The group is open to all ages and to all traditions.  The purpose of this group is to learn from one another and to maybe find other to meet in person.  This is NOT a dating service so do not think that this is what goes on here, and do not get the wrong impression.

What does Destiny Lived have to offer its members?

    There are a number of things the group is offering its members and there are more things to come!  The group now offers its members:

• Open forum discussions sent to their emails,
• Weekly chats that are self lead and self moderated to get to know other members,
• Monthly special topic chats that are voted on by the members 
• Calendar of events-what is happening in all five states; including meet ups in the major cities, and special festivals and calls for rituals and holidays.
• Photo section to share personal photos
• Special link section that members can share links to their favorite websites or their own sites with other members. 

There are more benefits to come as the group grows and time goes by.  Members also have access to add their own events to the calendar, links and photos without having to wait for the group owner's approval. 

Also in February there will be a herb craft course starting that is offered only to members.

So what are the rules of the group?

The rules are simple and few.  You must live in one of the five states mentioned above.  If you are on active military duty and your legal address is in one of those five states you are still welcome to join regardless of where you are currently stationed.

You are not under any circumstances allowed to post pornographic material to either the link page, the photo section or to any messages posted to the group.  This group has members that are under the age of eighteen and so this is not allowed nor is it legal.  Plus this is not what this group is for.

No spamming is allowed, whatsoever.

Peoples views are to be respected at all times and bashing another member in any form will  NOT  be tolerated.  This is a peaceful group and we want it to stay that way.  If you have conflicting views then there is only one way to settle it, agree to disagree.
