The Concept
CRC is a full year, one credit class at Case High school, in Racine, Wisconsin.
The concept behind CRC is actually quite simple. CRC stands for Conflict Resolution Crew.
Naturally, it's purpose is to decrease conflict, hence the name. By increasing a sense of community,
we can decrease the amount of conflicts. Increasing community is done several ways.
- Teambuilding Activities
These are any kind of activity specifically designed to get people working together;
most of the time this work involves being in close proximity with others.
- Challenge Activities
These are any kind of activity specifically designed to force people to problem solve,
and make them use their brains to solve problems rather than their braun.
- The performing Arts
CRC is a full year one credit course in which the students write a theater piece.
The scenes depicted are taken from the experiences of the students in the class, or people
that the students know. The theater piece shows many situations, and gets others to think
of what they would do in those situations.
However, this class is not all fun and games. The students must follow strict rules and must live up to certain
