Peace of Paris (1763)
The Peace of Paris of 1763 was signed on February 10th, 1763. It was signed by Portugal, Spain, France, and the United Kingdom. This treaty, along with the Treaty of Hubertusburg, officially ended the French and Indian War (1954-1763) and the Seven Years War. The British received Canada and claims of the land West of the Mississippi, they also got Grenada and Grenadines. France retained Saint Pierre and Miquelon and received Guadeloupe and Martinique. Britain returned the island of Goree to the French in return for settlements along the Senegal River and demolished fortifications in Honduras. Spain got Cuba, New Orleans, and Louisiana (Wikipedia 1).
