April 5, 2003 | Cloud City, Madison

Well, here’s a good one for y’all.  This show had to be the hardest damn thing
to get, but was fun as hell. First of all, Zack couldn't get off of work so he had
to drive  up to Minocqua in the middle of the nigh, in a terrible snow storm.  At
about 1:30 in the morning, he calls up and says his clutch had gone out.  Since
it was about 0 degrees and there was already about 6 inches of snow on the
road, Reek and I had to go pick him up (which took about two hours to drive
30 miles).  So, we get home at about 3 o’ clock a.m. and pass out.  Then in
the morning, all of the roads were perfectly fine with clear skies above.  It was
freaky.  So, we get on the road and arrive at Cloud City to meet the other
bands and whatnot. Castor Troy (reminded me of Small Brown Bike) opened
up the show with a kick ass set. They only had three songs but good,
nonetheless.  Then we played and it was all cool.  Then, Life No Longer and
The Dead Romance finished it off.  After hanging out for a while after the show,
we all went to Denny’s (as tradition goes) and went to sleep.

More entries coming very soon…
