Dear Companions, Kin, & Disciples,

            The occasion that Cold January Farewell and its friends have been eagerly awaiting, has finally arrived.  Rarely, in the history of punk music or its associate genres, has there been a band who achieved success without the backing of already well-known artists. For Cold January Farewell, that time is now.  August 3 in LaCrosse, WI, the band will be opening for Chicago’s popular new pop-punk band Fallout Boy (Fueled By Ramen) as well as New Jersey’s Drive-Thru Records artists, Hidden in Plain View.  It would mean so much, if as many people as possible from the Minocqua scene would make an effort to make the trip down to LaCrosse to show these pop-punk/emo kids what a CJF pit looks like.  Thanks for the support, it will be an incredible show.
