We just
returned from a double header weekend (May 16 – St. Germaine & May 18 – LaCrosse)
and both shows were amazing! Every show keeps getting better and
better. We'll have a show journal
page up soon with all of our stories about what went wrong, how jinxed we
are and maybe even a couple good things that happened. The show with
Watershed Year and Skies Torn Asunder was the best time ever. After
the show, Watershed Year wasted our inexperienced asses at bowling.
Watershed Year was, as always, incredible. Big thanks to
them for coming up to our hometown. Also, we'd like to thank a couple
kids: Tyler Rymsha and Dustin
for hooking us up with the shows last weekend, and everyone who
came out and rocked insanely hard. Thanks to the kids from out of town
that came to see us (including the Milwaukee girls who drove crazy lengths)
We also have
some shows in the making for this summer worth checking out. We
were lucky enough to get on the bills of some national touring
bands called Last Perfection, Saving Face, and Prizefighter (ex.
Taking Back Sunday) members.
More details
to come soon!
Website Takes on
a New Look! | Posted by Kyle P. | 4.26.03
Right on people. I’d
gotten so bored that I decided to design a new, better-looking, more
efficient, snazzier, improved website.
I think this is by far, more professional looking and fits better with
what CJF is all about. Some sections
of this site are still in the construction phases. In other words, I haven’t been motivated
enough to finish them. But don’t
worry; I got neat things planned, like streaming audio of every song! So check back often!
Cold January
Farewell Strikes Back | Posted by Kyle P. | 4.03.03
Me and Erick returned from Minneapolis promoting like
crazy. We handed out demos to bands
like Atreyu, The Early November, Fallout Boy, Shai Hulud, and Further Seems
Forever. CJF also managed to land a
spot on a radio show in
North Dakota! CJF is working on playing shows in Minneapolis throughout the
spring and summer
months. In related news, the shows
section has been updated, more shows are still being planned, and further
additions to the website can be expected soon! Join the mailing list to get
the news first!
Big Thanks to
