The kids are gone, the nest is empty....thank God. Now I can do a few things I've always wanted to. Raising kittens with good breeding should come easy for me as I've spent the last 25 years working on my own family tree. My cattery name comes from the combination of a Scottish and English surname in my family. Watch for Scottish names in the cats I will be showing.

I grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota, the oldest of three girls. I was my dad's only "boy" and grew up helping do the chores, helping repair tractors and plows, and helping with the fieldwork. It's a great place to grow up, but I couldn't wait to get out of the small town atmosphere. So where do I end up? In a small town in Northwestern Wisconsin! I live in a two-story older home with lots of space for the moms and babies to roam.

I started out with a small dog in the family when the kids were little. After she left us I began to bring home kittens from the humane society. I found cats to be such good company and much less maintenance than a dog. So here I am; still with my older tabby girls watching my first litter of Siamese growing up.

I garden in the summer and do scrap quilting in the winter. I love computer games (like Myst and Riven) and can spend more hours in a day working on one than is absolutely necessary. It's a good thing I only have myself to please! I love to travel and have had many great adventures with my kids and family.

Goals: To raise beautiful healthy kittens for everyone to enjoy. To participate in local, regional, and, someday, national shows. Remember, I love to travel! To meet other breeders and promote all breeds as there is something for everyone in the cat fancy!
