Friday, Apr. 02, 2004: Due to artistic differences and a confict of interest, "August Night Addiction" as we have come to know it no longer exists. In spite of a disasterous breakup involving two of the core members, there is hope for fans of ANA. Matt and Tim will embark upon a duet album and retain the name "August Night Addiction." The other (not to mention, cooler) members, Josh and Tony have collaborated with another Josh (better known as "Number 2") and another drummer whos name I cannot recall at the moment. The four will venture on to play gigs as soon as April 16 if the band is ready.
August Night Addiction has recorded their first demo since breaking up on CD with two songs. Those interested in a copy can either get one for free or purchase one from Matt. Rumors have speculated that Tim and Matt will be playing an unplugged show at a venue near you in the near future. This website will keep you posted of any updates as they occur.
Thursday, Oct. 29, 2003: The band held a meeting last night at All Stop Travel Plaza to discuss where the band is headed. They think it's important for fans to know that everything won't come along quite as smoothly and with as much haste as Foozler did. Two of the members are attending school full time as well as working other jobs, and the other has a full time job working more than 40 hours a week most of the time.(and the other, who will remain annonymous, gets paid a shitload just to clean vehickular mechancisms and drum all day), so the schedule is a little stacked. The band would like to get the next song recorded in the very near future, but the first gig probably won't happen until mid-summer.
About August Night Addiction: These Lodi based punk rockers don't take no for an answer. They collaborate the styles of Blink 182, Thrice, Thursday, Saves the Day, Brand New and Bone Thugs n Harmony into every song.
The band was recently formed not even a month ago with their first release, "My Ally". My Ally is an anthem dedicated to late night car rides and caffeine highs. The song starts out with melodic arpeciatic tones and ends with an uptempo acapella.
About the band:
Matt: Writes most of the stuff. The unofficial leader of the group who carries the most vision on where he wants the band to go. Matt likes tacos. The basic average would describe Rowell as outgoing.
Tim: Oh boy. Tim definately has the most energy out of all of them and enjoys late night walks on the beach and turdfurgelling. He's a really nice guy...don't you dare touch his ears though.
Tony: Probably the most mysterious of the group. Has been caught rocking in his basement with huge headphones on playing PS2. He loves sports, especially college football and has been playing his wooden 5 string for about 5 years now.
