Seattle Center and the Science Museum's Butterfly Habitat - June 6, 2002

The Space Needle. Our Stratosphere is Bigger! Neener-neener-neener! :P

At the entrance of the Science museum there is an artsy little circle with a huge Weiland whale tail fin in the middle. It is surrounded with sea-creatures statues. I liked these round fish because they remind me of a play I saw as a kid in the puppet theater in Sofia.

There are butterflies in this picture, I guarantee it! And contrary to popular belief it is NOT upside-down!

Mmmm... breakfast! (I stole this from Steve and Karen - they had a similar caption to a similar pic they took in the same place on their honeymoon a couple of years ago). This is a fruits plate for the butterflies, not a picnic gone awry.

My artistic masterpiece. :)

Mommy with the butterflies and flowers.

Pretty but hot and humid. At this point we couldn't wait to get out of there.

The sign. Maybe I should have taken a pic of it earlier... Oh, well...
