Kim stared at Emily. "If your here...Then Tiffany's..."
"Yea" Emily replied. Kim sat across from her at a booth.
"Do you have any idea what you've done to your mom? She's a mess" Kim exclaimed. Emily sighed.
"I know" She replied.
"No I don't think you do? What the fuck are you thinking? That when he finally realizes you aren't his girlfriend he'll be OK with it?" Kim argued.
"Yea" She replied.
"I'm sure he will" Kim muttered. Emily was about to reply when Nick came back.
"Ohhh....Talking about me?" He asked. Kim smiled at him, then left the booth. Emily bit her lip and leaned over to drink her soda.
Nick held Emily in his arms as the boat rocked back and forth.
"If I tell you something will you promise not to get mad?" He asked.
"Tell me and we'll see" She replied. Nick smirked.
"In these past few days, I've fallen in love with a incredibly different Tiffany. One who I feel actually loves me. Before the....incident....I thought you didn't love me anymore-but now...I love you so much" He exclaimed, holding her close to him, his head on her shoulder. "I never want to loose you again"
Emily gulped, fighting back the tears. She wanted to tell him so bad...wanted to tell him he was in love with her...Not Tiffany. But she knew full well what Kim had said was true. If Nick knew the truth, she would loose him forever.
"I love you too baby" She replied, kissing his cheek. He looked up, smiling.
"I never thought I'd hear those words from your lips" He replied. She smirked.
"I've told you that before" She replied.
"I never believe you before" He replied, pulling away and walking over to the wheel, guiding the boat back towards shore.
Kim finished washing dishes in the cafe, turning towards Emily's mom.
"That girl Nick's dating looks so much like my Em" Emily's mom exclaimed.
"Yea" Kim replied. Mrs. Hass smiled.
"When I saw her...I thought...well...That my Emily was coming home. I'm so dumb sometimes" She exclaimed.
"Don't say that...It could've been Emily" Kim exclaimed.
"What?" Mrs. Hass asked. Kim bit her lip, this woman had been like a mother to her, she couldn't lie to her face. On the other hand, her best friend had asked her not to tell anyone. She looked up at the old woman's confused face.
"Well...." She started, telling her everything.
Emily woke up, the sun shining in her face. She noticed they were docked. She looked around the marina, she saw some blonde hair on the other side of the boat and walked over.
"Whatcha doin?" She asked. Nick looked up.
"Stupid sailboat....This is the second mast I've gone through this year" He replied.
"Oh...Well maybe if you had a better skipper running the boat they wouldn't break as often" Emily joked. Nick smirked.
"And you could do better?" He asked.
"Damn Right" She replied. Nick laughed.
"Maybe next time I take her out you can drive and we'll see" He replied. He pushed what he was working on out of the way and stood up.
"You wanna hang out with the guys today?" He asked.
"I dunno...They don't seem to like me" She muttered.
"Well...They don't know the real you like I do" He replied, moving his head towards her, sliding his tounge into her mouth.
"HEY GET A ROOM" Brian yelled. Emily and Nick jumped, almost falling off the boat. Emily turned around. The guys and their woman were standing in their beach stuff, smiling at the couple.
"Even if I would've said I didn't want to hang out with them would it have mattered?" Emily asked. Nick smiled at her.
"No" He replied. "I already invited them"
Emily smirked and went down below to change into her swimsuit.
While Emily changed, the group had went down the beach to set up a vollyball net, with the exception of Nick and Brian, who stayed behind, waiting for Emily.
"So...Nick how are things with you and Tiffany?" Brian asked. He looked at his friend.
"I love her so much" He replied. Brian sighed.
"Nick..." He started.
"No Brian...She's done a total 360 here. She's the person I fell in love with again" Nick replied.
"I just don't want you to get hurt again" Brian replied.
"She told me she loved me Brian. She's never said that with feeling before and when we had sex Brian...It was so perfect" Nick replied.
"Thanks for sharing" Brian joked. Nick shrugged. "You sure about this?"
"Something's changed about her Brian...She's like a new person" Nick commented. Emily sat down below, listening to their conversation.
"If you only knew how right you were" Emily whispered.
