“Can I take your bags miss?” The bellboy questioned. Josie smirked and held up her one and only bag. She had been packing light; everyone else had maybe 6-7 bags. Josie held her suitcase and followed Nick, Bri and Leighanne to the elevator.

“You know Josie, They have Bellboy’s to take luggage up and unpack it” Leighanne commented.

“Hey, I’m just getting used to this ‘People wait on me’ thing” Josie exclaimed. When Josie was 9 her mom died of Cancer, so it had been her and her dad for a little over 10 years. He worked hard during the day and at night she made him dinner and cleaned the house, on top of schoolwork. They got to the 20th floor and Brian stuck a key into a tiny keyhole next to the number 20. The doors opened and she stepped into a gigantic penthouse.

“Holy Shit” Josie mumbled. “Are we on the right floor?”

“Yea, This is it, You better call rooms before the rest of the guys come up” Nick exclaimed. He walked over to a hallway that led to individual rooms. There were 5 rooms, one with two full beds, so Nick and Josie got that one. Josie explored the hotel room, while Leighanne, Brian and Nick explained to the bellboy where to put everything.

“HEY NICK” Josie screamed. Nick walked over to her. She was standing in the bathroom, next to the toilet and something that looked like a bubbler.

“What the hell is that?” Josie asked, pointing to the bubbler. Nick smiled.

“It’s a butt wash, It’s in all the expensive hotels, you’ve never seen one?” Nick asked. Josie smirked.

“The most expensive place I’ve ever stayed at was the embassy suites” Josie joked. Nick laughed.

“We used to stay there” Nick replied.

“Wow, That remark made me feel important, ‘we used to stay there, but now we’re to good for that’ I see how it is” Josie commented.

“I didn’t mean it that way, hey, Leigh, Bri and I want to go shopping now, you want to come?” Nick asked. Josie smiled.

“What about the rest of the guys?” Josie asked.

“Well, Kevin and his wife Kristin are going to some show on Broadway, Howie and his girlfriend Claudia are doing something and AJ told us to meet with him later” Nick explained. Josie checked her watch. The show that night was at 7:30, it was 3 then, so they had awhile to shop.

“These are so cute!” Leighanne exclaimed. She walked around the store in pink, shiny pants. Josie shrugged.

“I like them, I just don’t know where I would wear ‘em!” Josie exclaimed.

“Anywhere: shopping, clubbing, Bar hopping, the concerts” Leighanne replied. Nick and Brian came up behind them.

”OMG Brian, Look at these Khakis don’t they make my ass look nice?” Nick asked. Josie nudged him playfully.

“Cut it Carter” Josie exclaimed. Leighanne looked at Josie.

“I guess this pink isn’t me” Leighanne exclaimed. She went to put the pants back and they left the store.

“I’m thirsty, We’ve been shopping for over 2 hours” Josie complained. They stopped at a coffeehouse and Josie got an Iced Cappuccino.

“Is that good? It looks like dog crap with cream on top” Nick commented.

“You know Nick, Telling me it looks like dog crap doesn’t make me want it” Josie replied slowly.

“That’s his plan, then he’ll be able to try it” Brian exclaimed. Josie licked the top part of the straw.

“You still want it with my slobber all over it?” Josie joked. Nick took it from her and took a sip.

“That’s pretty good” Nick exclaimed. He offered it to Leighanne but she shook her head.

“I don’t want a drink with Nick Carter and Josie Martin spit on it” Leighanne joked.

“What time did AJ tell us to meet him here?” Brian asked as they sat at a table in a Deli.

“6, and it’s 6:15 now, You think something happened?” Nick asked.

“You guys, Its AJ, Are you afraid of fans?” Josie asked.

“No, Its New York, We’re afraid of muggers and people wanting to kill him for his shoes” Brian replied. Josie made a face.

“That stuff doesn’t really happen” Josie replied.

“You certainly haven’t been in a big city, Josie, People are shot and killed everyday” Leighanne exclaimed.

“Hey, remember, I am not Mrs. I know everything about being famous; bare with me” Josie exclaimed. Nick put his arm around her.

“Aww, It’s OK” Nick joked. AJ walked in to the Deli with a brunette.

“Is this someone you picked up on the way here?” Josie asked. No one laughed, AJ smiled.

“Girl, This is my girlfriend Amanda Latona, we’ve been together for about 2 years” AJ replied. Josie blushed. She stood up and put her hand out.

“OMG, I am so sorry!” Josie apologized. Amanda laughed.

“It’s totally OK, I get worse from the fans everyday! So this must be Josie, AJ wouldn’t shut up about you on the way over here, Nick you better watch out, AJ might snag your girl” Amanda joked. Nick turned red.

“Amanda, Its more like, You better watch out, I might snag AJ!” Josie exclaimed. Amanda laughed and sat down.

“So, I hear you decided to go walking with the guys today? When I decided to show myself to the fans, instead of me getting hurt, AJ got his foot ran over! He blamed it on himself, but it was because he pushed me out of the way!” Amanda exclaimed.

“At least they sold the cast to charity” AJ commented. After dinner they made their way back to the hotel. The girls went one way, to get ready for the concert; while the guys went to go warm up before the concert.

“Where did you get that?” Amanda questioned. Josie was in jeans and a cute Tommy Hilfiger tank top.

“It’s a Tommy top” Josie replied. Amanda had done Josie’s make-up and Leighanne did the hair. Josie hadn’t met Claudia or Kristin yet, but she knew she would.

“I love Tommy, Ever been to Contempo? I love that place and there’s this other one with all this weird stuff, Totally me!” Amanda exclaimed. Josie’s hair was in two buns in the back of her head. She had always wanted to do the style. But never had the chance.

“You know what, you kinda look like Amanda” Leighanne exclaimed, cocking her head to one side.

“I’m blonde, Amanda is a brunette” Josie replied. Amanda looked up.

“No, Nick’s ex-girlfriend Amanda, She was something else, those two had fun together, but she couldn’t handle the fans constant comments about her being a whore and it just got too hard for her. They broke up so much, it was off and on and then they never got on again. She wasn’t rude at all, the fans just got her on her off days” Leighanne replied.

“So, I look like a whore?” Josie asked. Leighanne smirked.

“Let’s go” Leighanne exclaimed, while pushing the girls out the door.

“This is the doll I made him, Could you please give this to Brian?” The girl asked. Josie bit her lip, she had received so many things to give to the guys, she didn’t know what to do.

“Of course I will!” Josie replied. The girl smiled.

“Could you take my camera and get me a picture of him with the doll?” The girl questioned. It was almost time for a costume change so Josie agreed to get the picture. She went under the curtain and fell on a couch.

“Being a girlfriend is a full-time job isn’t it? Good thing, I’m just a friend” Josie exclaimed. Amanda was sitting across from her.

“You mean you and Nick aren’t dating?” Amanda asked.

“No, why would you get that Idea?” Josie asked.

“Please girl, at the restaurant you were both all over each other” Amanda replied. Josie had been touching Nick as much as possible with out trying to be obvious, For example, when she needed ketchup, she would put her hand on his shoulder and nudge him.

“No, I don’t like Nick like that” Josie replied. Amanda rolled her eyes.

“How old are you?” Amanda asked, trying to sound like her mom.

“I’m 21” Josie replied. Amanda smiled.

“Geez, your older than Nick too. All the girlfriend are older then their men” Amanda exclaimed. Josie heard the guys coming and she took a hold of the doll and the fans' camera.

“I’m not a girlfriend” Josie exclaimed. She saw Nick walking towards her and she put on a big grin. She had had so much fun; she didn’t want to leave.
