CHAPTER THIRTY NINE

"I've been waiting for this night for over a year and a half" Josie replied. She pressed her lips to his and moved so she was sitting on his stomach as he laid on the bed. Nick pulled Josie's shirt off. She put her hands under his shirt and pulled it over his head. she undid his belt and unzippered his khakis, pulling them off. Josie smiled looking him over. He was wearing CK black boxer/briefs. She smiled and let her tounge slide over her lips.

"I love you" Josie exclaimed. Nick looked up at her with a sly grin.

"I love you too" he replied. With that he flipped her over onto her back. "I haven't done this in awhile so I might be a little rusty"

"I haven't either. I told Chris I was a virgin saving it for my wedding night" Josie explained. Nick smirked.

"Now that was a lie" Nick replied. Josie laughed.

"Stop talking" Josie demanded. Nick spread her legs apart and placed his body between hers. Josie used her feet to pull down his CK boxers. Nick brought his face towards hers, kissing her roughly.

Josie woke up the next morning with a big grin on her face. She turned her face to were Nick should've been but didn't find him there. She was about to get up to look for him when Nick popped his head into the bedroom.

"I thought you'd want some breakfast" Nick exclaimed. Josie smiled.

"I'm so hungary!" Josie replied. Nick put a little tray in front of her. Josie smiled and started on the pancakes, then the eggs and finally the toast.

"You made that yourself?" Josie questioned. Nick looked around.

"Kinda" Nick replied.

"Kinda?" Josie questioned. "How do you kinda make breakfast?"

"I put the order in to room service and then I walked down there and poured the OJ myself" Nick replied. Josie smiled and took a sip of OJ. She finished the glass when she felt something in her mouth.

"There was something in my OJ" Josie muttered. She put her hand in her mouth and pulled out a diamond ring. "Whoa-I didnt expect to find that in a glass of OJ"

"I know we've just started going together again. But I don't want to loose you Josie. I love you" Nick explained. "Will you marry me?"

"You don't have to try to give me ways to marry you Nick. Of course I will!" Josie exclaimed, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Well, Not right away, Maybe in like a year when the group starts going again" Nick exclaimed. Josie let her arms fall from his neck.

"Nick, In like a year when you guys are big again it'll be an even worse time. Your fans will leave when you guys get married. BUT if you're married already then the fans will understand" Josie replied.

"No, maybe a year. I gotta go to practice, Love you" Nick exclaimed, kissing the top of her head. Josie smiled and watched him walk out. She played with the diamond ring on her finger. Maybe saying yes wasn't a very good idea after all Josie thought to herself.

Josie was looking around for her bodyguard. She'd asked him to wait outside the clothing store while she went inside to try on some things.

"Shit" Josie sweared. There were a lot of people in Bikini's and speedo's walking past her. She looked down at her tanktop and shorts. Feeling out of place she walked into another store. She grabbed a baby blue sparkly bikini and put it on in the fitting room. Payed for it and left the store. Josie thought she saw the bodyguard so she ran towards him. She hit a blonde women head on, making all the ladies stuff fly out of her hands.

"I'm so sorry" Josie apologized.

"I bet" The women grumpled.

"Shit, Now I lost my damn bodyguard" Josie exclaimed, looking around the crowed.

"Josie?" The women asked. Josie looked down and moved her sunglasses down.

"Leighanne?" Josie squeled. Leighanne stood up and Josie gave her a big hug.

Josie had given up on finding her bodyguard and went with Leighanne to a little lemonade shop down the street.

"Yea, So Nick woke up and like 6 months later he broke your wedding up? Thats so amazing!" Leighanne exclaimed.

"I know. PLUS..Look what I got" Josie exclaimed. She put her hand out to show Leighanne. Leighanne's eyes twinkled when she saw the diamond.

"That looks expensive!" Leighanne explained.

"Probably was" Josie replied.

"How's Brian?" Leighanne questioned.

"Good I guess. He's got a new girl named Taylor. She's so blah-Not his type at all. I give her a month at most" Josie explained. Leighanne smiled.

"I used to be blah too-but Brian has a way to bring out the best in people" Leighanne replied, gazing towards the ocean. Josie was quiet.

"Why did you guys divorce anyway?" Josie asked.

"We both have our own reasons I guess. We never really did talk about it" Leighanne replied. She shrugged. "I should get going, Great seeing you again Josie"

"You know, maybe if you talked, you'd see you really never meant to be apart in the first place. I can see you still love him and he certainly still loves you" Josie explained. Leighanne left the table, then turned around.

"Love isn't all people need to stay together. See you around Josie" Leighanne explained. Josie watched her leave. She felt a strong hand on her shoulder.

"Lets go" Her bodyguard scolded. He had a pissed off look on his face that Josie didn't like one bit.

"How did you wonder around for 3 hours?" Kevin questioned.

"I met an old friend" Josie replied. Kevin shook his head. An executive walked into Nick's hotel room along with Nick and the rest of the guys.

"We had police getting ready to find you. We thought maybe someone somehow kidnapped you" The executive explained.

"Listen, your stupid bodyguard left me. I told him to wait OUTSIDE the store and he wasn't there and then I bumped into lei...an old friend and we started to talk. It's his fault NOT mine" Josie explained.

"Josie you have to be careful" Kevin explained.

"Of who? Your nonexistant fans? Please..You guys are out of it, No one knows who you are and no one would ever know who I am unless I had a huge sign that said 'I'm dating Nick Carter" Josie yelled. When all the guys looked at her with hurt faces she shut up. "I didn't mean that"

"Yea you did-People only say things that they mean. Besides its the truth" AJ explained.

"Don't let this happen again Miss Martin or I won't allow you to go on tour with guys" The executive explained, leaving Josie with the guys.

"Listen I didn't mean...." Josie started. Brian smailed.

"Forget it..in a few months we'll be Backstreet again" Brian replied. He walked over and gave Josie a hug. Brian was about to walk away when Josie put something in his hand.

"Call this number-You won't regret it" Josie explained. Brian smiled and left the room. Howie, Kev and AJ followed him. Nick looked at her. They just stood there.

"Could you beleive that executive guy telling me that I couldn't go on tour with you guys?" Josie exclaimed.

"I wouldn't mess with him Josie" Nick replied. He walked up to her and rubbed her shoulders. "He's got my career in his hands"

"Huh?" Josie questioned. Nick let her shoulders go.

"I have more stuff to do-I'll see you at dinner" Nick exclaimed. Josie sighed. Its weird how in one day my whole mood can change She left the room and walked towards the pool.
