CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

"No, I totally agree with you" Josie explained. Melissa sighed at the other end of the phone line.

"I can't handle a baby by myself" Melissa explained. "Do you think an abortion is OK?"

"Mel, Don't even ask me, You know I hate that stuff. It's your life, live it however you want to. I'll just say one thing, YOu arent god and only god kills people" Josie replied.

"I cant handle this Josie, I know if I have the baby and then have to put it up for adoption, I wont be able to give it up. I'll want to keep it and I can't handle the kid by myself. My parents have like banished me from the house" Melissa cried. Josie sighed.

"Then have the abortion Mel, I think I heard a door slam, Maybe Nick's home, I'll talk to you soon" Josie lied. Melissa said her good-byes and hung up. Josie sighed and laid back on a bed. She had been going to college at USF while Nick and the guys were over in Europe on tour. Finally, Nick was suppose to be coming home either tonight or tomorrow. Josie sighed, after she got home from school, the trick-o-treaters were everywhere. She handed out candy and signed pictures of Nick to kids. Josie got off the bed and made her way downstairs. Scary Movie was on and since she'd never seen it, she switched it on.

The credits rolled by on the TV so she went upstairs to get some sleep. Josie laid down in the bed and pulled the feather comforter over her body. An hour later she heard a door downstairs open. Josie woke up and looked around the dark room, getting ready for Nick to come in. After 15 minutes, Josie was getting pissed so she got up and walked downstairs. She looked around the room, squinting her eyes since it was pitch black. Houston was standing by an open patio door.

"I thought I closed that" Josie said outloud to herself. She walked over and went to shut it. Mikey and Willy walked to her feet and started to whine.

"You guys, Its a full moon, the weirdos are out, you dont wanna go out there" Josie exclaimed. They started to whine louder so she opened the patio door.

"They're aren't any weirdos out tonight" A raspy voice whispered in her ear. Without turning around, Josie ran out the patio door, hearing footsteps running behind her. She hated Nick at that moment. Nick's driveway was 1/2 mile long and once you got there you need to take a path to the neighbors yard. Josie ran as fast as she could. She turned behind her, In the light of the moon she could see a man with weird brown hair running after her. Josie got to the gate that ended the driveway and punched in the code. It buzzed so she pulled it open and ran out. She slammed it shut and heard it buzz again, meaning it was locked.

"Help" Josie screamed. She heard footsteps behind her. Josie stopped running. The gate was more than 8 feet tall and unless you knew the code you couldnt open the gate. She turned and faced her pursuier. He stopped running and a smile crept to his face. Josie walked over and started to pull at his neck, soon pulling off a mask and revealing Nick's face.

"Happy Halloween" Nick exclaimed laughing. Josie rolled her hand into a fist and started to beat on Nick's chest.

"You're such an asshole" Josie yelled. She moved past him and started back towards the gate.

"What did I do?" Nick asked.

"Where are you going?" Nick questioned, starting at Josie. She was shoving clothes into a duffel bag.

"I called a friend and he's coming to pick me up, You scared toshit out of me" Josie replied. Nick sighed.

"We haven't seen eachother for more than 2 months and you want to leave? Josie it was just a joke" Nick explained.

"I didnt find it funny, I almost pissed my pants" Josie snapped. She heard a buzz, meaning someone was at the gate.

"When will you be back?" Nick asked.

"Tomorrow when I'm not pissed off at you" Josie replied. Nick shrugged.

"I dont get you sometimes, Practical joke, you know..haha" Nick mimicked. Josie looked up at him.

"See you tomorrow" Josie muttered. She walked out of the room. Nick called her name from behind her, but she still kept walking.

"Thanks for picking me up" Josie exclaimed.

"No problem" Marshall, otherwise known as Eminem replied. They had met at a MTV party and had become good friends. He was on the up in smoke tour with Dre and Snoop Dogg. They were in Tampa so he hadn't had to come far.

"You can drop me at a Holiday Inn or something" Josie replied.

"No, I have a great room at this real expensive joint, You can stay with me" Eminem replied.

"So, What have you been up to?" Josie asked.

"Writing for my new CD, Getting drunk, Getting high, the regular" He joked. Josie smiled.

"Oh, same with me" Josie joshed. He smiled and pulled into the hotel.

"Nice place" Josie exclaimed. He lead her down a noisy hall. It smelled like shit, but she didnt comment on it. He opened a door and led her in.

"Well, since it's like midnight, I'm going to go to bed" Josie exclaimed.

"You can try, they won't sleep til 3" Marshall commented. Josie sighed.

"What do you want to do then?" Josie asked. He smiled at her coyly.

"Well, I get free playboy" He exclaimed.

"Oh yea-I would love that" Josie replied sarcasticly.

"Great" He replied, switching it on.

"I was joking" Josie replied. "Turn this shit off"

"This is good quality american programing" Eminem replied. Josie wrinkled her nose.

"This is shit" She replied. She leaned over him and tried to steal the clicker. Because they were sitting on the bed, He leaned back. Josie climbed on top of him, trying to steal it from him.

"Gimme it" Josie snapped. She grabbed the end of the clicker where the volume button was. Groans and screams filled the room. She finally pulled it away and shut it off. She still had her legs on both side of him and was resting her butt on his stomach.

"Now what are we going to do?" Eminem asked. Josie shrugged. She tried to stand up, but the bed was a waterbed and she fell backwords, her head hitting his knee.

"That was cute" He joked. Josie felt something digging into her back. She went to go push it away, but she pulled her hand back.

"UM, what do you want to do? Besides watch playboy?" Josie questioned. He was quiet.

"Do you really hate Nick? Because I can think of a few things I've been wanting to do with you sinec I met you Jos" Eminem exclaimed. Josie sat up and smiledn sweetly.

"You have a wife and kid" Josie exclaimed.

"And you have a boyfriend, but a little meaningless sex never hurt anybody" Eminem explained. Josie sighed. He brought his hands to her shirt and started to pull it off.

"I dunno" Josie replied. He brought his head to her lips and kissed her. She sighed, It felt right even though she knew it was wrong.

"I have to warn you, I'm a screamer" Josie explained. He smiled and flipped her over, into the bed.

"Josie, wake up" Eminem yelled. Josie wiped her eyes.

"I'm sleepy, leave me alone" Josie mumbled.

"Yea, well Nick will be here any minute and you naked in my bed won't look so good" Eminem excalimed.

"What? Why would Nick be here?" Josie asked.

"He called around and found my hotel. The lady at the front desk just called and said he was on his way up" He explained. Josie got up and wrapped the sheet around her body.

"Where's my clothes?" She asked.

"Well, I dunno, I just threw 'em last night" Eminem joked. Josie didn't laugh, but she grabbed her bra and panties. Then she found her shirt and her shorts. She just pulled her shorts on when Nick knocked on the door. Eminem opened it up and Josie grabbed her bag. She smiled at him.

"I'm guessing you aren't mad at me anymore" Nick exclaimed.

"I got a load off my shoulders, I'm fine" Josie replied. She hugged Eminem goodbye and left with Nick.
