Josie opened her eyes and glanced at the clock, 6am. She turned around in the king size bed she and Nick were sleeping in. Nick’s hair was mated to his head and he was snoring softly.

“Nick” Josie exclaimed. Nick mumbled something and kept on snoring. Josie shook him with her hand and tried to wake him up. Nick’s eyes popped open.

“What time is it?” Nick asked sleeply.

“6” Josie replied. Nick stared at her.

“Why did you wake me up, I was having a good dream” Nick exclaimed. Josie smiled.

“I have an idea for my song” Josie replied.

“Yea, what?” Nick questioned. Josie smiled sweetly.

“Well, It’s going to be about you, but not so everyone knows it’s about you, ya know?” Josie asked.

“Yea, lemme guys the name, Annoying boyfriend? Ugly guy?” Nick joked, wiping his eyes.

“I dunno yet, but those would describe you” Josie replied.

“Sing some” Nick exclaimed.

“Well, I haven’t wrote it yet, I need you to do that” Josie replied. Nick looked pissed.

“You woke me up at 6am to tell me your idea? Couldn’t it wait till 10?” Nick asked. Josie shrugged.

“Go back to bed Josie” Nick snapped. Josie smiled, Nick certainly wasn’t a morning person. She got out of bed and walked into the living room, surprised to see Leighanne up.

“It’s 6am, what are you doing up?” Josie asked. Leighanne wiped her eyes and looked up.

“I couldn’t sleep” Leighanne lied. Josie eyed her, it was obvious Leighanne had been crying.

“What’s the matter?” Josie asked.

“I told you, I couldn’t sleep, will you drop it?” Leighanne yelled. Josie sighed.

“Listen Leigh, sometimes, when I’m feeling like shit, I feel a lot better if I get it off my chest” Josie explained. Leighanne looked up at her. Josie made her way over to the loveseat Leighanne was on and sat next to her.

“Me and Brian started to argue over somethings” Leighanne explained.

“What kind of things?” Josie asked.

“Well, we put the marriage off this long, we were suppose to get married last fall! I want to do it now, He needs me to sign a prenup; which I certainly don’t want to do, I love him, can’t he see that? Plus, he wants maybe 3 kids; after being in this business with teens, I only want maybe one” Leighanne explained. Josie thought for a moment.

“As long as you two are married, if you sign the prenup you get everything paid for, right?” Josie asked.

“Yes Josie, but that isn’t the point, marriage is suppose to be about love and trust, If he makes me sign it, then he doesn’t trust me” Leighanne cried. Josie smirked.

“Just sign the damn thing Leigh, He has to be careful, He is worth millions” Josie argued. “You’ll get married soon, Brian’s a busy guy, He loves you, you can tell and he wants it just as much as you”

“You think so?” Leighanne asked.

“Girl, I know so! Don’t you see the way when you walk into the room his face brightens?” Josie asked. Leighanne laughed.

“I guess” She replied, wiping the tears from her eyes. “It was a stupid argument! So what are you doing up?”

“Well, you know how I’m going in to record a demo? Well, I have an idea for the song” Josie exclaimed.

“What?” Leighanne questioned.

“Well, Nick” Josie replied. Leighanne laughed.

“What are you going to call it?” Leighanne asked.

“I dunno yet” Josie replied. “I need to write it first”

“Well, I know Brian writes songs that he has strong emotions for: The fans, his mom, his breakup with his ex, The One was about being able to care for me; did you know that?” Leighanne asked.

“No” Josie replied. “So you think I should write about how I feel towards Nick?”

“Basically yea, If the day you write the song he’s pissing you off, you should be able to tell in the song” Leighanne explained. Leighanne stood up.

“I’m going to back to bed” Leighanne exclaimed, she walked away from Josie, leaving her sit there.

“Does it suck?” Josie questioned. Brian looked at her.

“Do you want me to lie?” Brian asked. Josie made a face.

“Why?” Josie questioned.

“Well, up beat songs are in now, not slow songs as much, your first song should be upbeat” Brian exclaimed.

“You can make the music upbeat” Josie replied. Brian looked down.

“When you hold me, you make me feel like the most important thing in the world” Brian read the lyric. “That would sound crappy fast”

“Oh” Josie replied. O-Town came down off the stage and Brian stood up.

“Make it fast and you’ll have a great song!” Brian exclaimed, handing her the sheet of lyrics back. Josie watched him leave and looked around as the screams of the crowd echoed off the walls of the venue. Ashley Angel of O-Town had sweat dripping off his face as he walked towards her..

“Hey Ash” Josie exclaimed. Ashley gave her a big grin.

“Hey babe” Ashley replied. “How’s that song going? Nick told me about it”

“Not too well, I guess it has to be upbeat” Josie muttered. Ashley smiled.

“You should ask Jacob to help you, he’s a great song writer” Ashley exclaimed.

“Maybe I will” Josie replied.

“I don’t see why Brian doesn’t like it” Leighanne exclaimed loudly over the blaring music. They were sitting in a fenced in area that went around the stage.

“I think I’ll keep it if I actually get as far as an album, make it another track on the single” Josie replied.

“So you’re actually thinking of a singing career?” Leighanne questioned.

“Well, I guess if I’m with you guys I won’t be going to school” Josie replied. Leighanne glanced at her.

“You could transfer to University of South Florida and go to school there” Leighanne replied.

“Maybe” Josie replied.

“I just don’t think you should give up your love to do something you just decided on 3 days ago” Leighanne exclaimed. “These guys are in the business because they love it”

“I guess” Josie replied. Leighanne handed her her written lyrics back. Brown drops fell onto the paper slowly. Leighanne looked up, to see what was falling. She turned around and saw fans standing behind Josie’s back, They were holding an empty shake cup in their hands.

“What are you doing?” Leighanne yelled.

“We didn’t mean to, Sorry” The 3 teenagers exclaimed, with no emotion at all. Josie stood up, feeling all sticky.

“What the hell?” Josie yelled, pulling her hand through her hair. People were starring at her, giving her weird glances. Josie was about to scream at them, but remembered that they were fans, and to piss off fans wasn’t a good idea.

“We’re really sorry lady” One girl exclaimed.

“I’m sure you are” Josie snapped.

“Listen, we told you we’re sorry, you don’t have to yell at us” Another girl exclaimed. A bodyguard was

walking quickly over to them.

“Excuse me girls, would you please walk away?” The guard demanded. The girls pulled out some cameras and started to take pictures. Leighanne was on edge.

“Get the fuck out of here” She screamed. The girls stood in shock and parents in the first and second rows gave Leighanne angry glances. Josie ran from the fence and under the stage.

“Josie, Open up” Nick yelled. Josie had taken a shower and was sitting on the toliet pouting.

“No” Josie replied. Nick sighed and grabbed the key to the bathroom door. He opened it and shut it behind him.

“Everyone’s wondering how you are, Are you OK?” Nick asked. Josie looked up.

“Do I look OK?” Josie questioned. “I HATE when people are mad at me and here are 2 million people who want to pour their drinks on me”

“Do you care what they think? You’ll never seen them again” Nick replied. He knelt down and put his hands on her knees. He looked up at Josie, who was still only in a towel and smiled at her.

“That’s not the point Nick” Josie exclaimed.

“What’s the point then? So many guys have called me a fag, It’s not funny. It hurts a lot to think that people think I go that way Josie. But, after awhile, you find that people don’t actually believe that. They only say things to you because they’re jealous. When you’re in High School, people call the popular people stuck up, they hate them. But, in reality they envy them, that’s why they say stuff” Nick explained. Josie laughed.

“That’s the smartest thing I think I ever heard you say” Josie laughed. Nick smiled.

“So, you OK with the shake thing?” Nick asked.

“Yea, I guess, I just don’t want to read what they’ll say about Leighanne on all those web sites” Josie laughed.

“Yea, I heard, I couldn’t believe good little Leighanne said that!” Nick exclaimed. Josie stood up and wrapped her arms around Nick’s neck. His hands went to her back. One into the back of her towel, the other down to her lower back. Josie froze; but let him do it anyway. Nick’s hand slowly moved to the front of her body. Josie pulled away.

“I think I should go get dressed, we have to catch the flight to Colorado” Josie exclaimed. Nick noticed her nervousness, but didn’t say anything as he watched her leave the bathroom.
