Do you know this guy???????
Right now, Josh is attending Lakeside Lutheran High School. There he is excelling in the study of computers and advanced mathematical concepts not yet known to him or the rest of humanity. Joshua's hobbies include a wide range of stuff from typing to sports. Unknown to most people, Joshua has his very own school newsletter which he calls JQP Today. JQP Today has 10 LLHS readers and 2 other people that do not attend LLHS.
This is Josh's 7th grade flag football team picture. This was Josh's first year in flag football and his first time being a Eastside Eagle. In football, Josh played center and did a unremarkable job playing center for his team.
But before Josh was a super center and the writer of his own school newsletter, he had to go through grade school. Josh started school at Eastside Lutheran Elementry School as a Kindegarten student. There, he showed early signs of mental supremicy. He excelled in the fine art of food throwing and block balancing. He also rapidly progressed through tieing his shoes and starting to read.
In Kindegarten, his teacher Mrs. Korth, was amazed at the intellegence and performance of Joshua. She decided to keep all of his grades in her grade book. That grade book is now on display in the Schultz Museum of un-rare and common things in the outstanding life of Joshua.
Not only in Kindegarten did Joshua amaze and impress his teachers, but also in the grades to follow. Joshua excelled in first grade also. In first grade he can very vividly remember his favorite word. "It was probably a Monday or a Tuesday," Josh said, "and as usual Mrs. Buhner was teaching the class words.Because of my previous background to my extensive vocabulary, I was able to answer most of her questions on how to pronounce the words. My aunt would always teach me new words everyday while I was a lad, and I would come to school everyday, awaiting my turn to tell the class a word. Even though most of the time I would just blurt it out anyway. But I can see it now, Mrs. Buhner flips her oversized sheet of paper on the chalkboard and the underlined word was THE. I was very familiar with this word and my spirits sailed high. I flung my hand in the air and before it reached my head I yelled 'THE!'. That was all I need, that made my year in first grade."
If you think Josh stoped there, you have news coming to you. Josh flew right by second grade and third. He was top of his class in second and third grade. The other students were quite frankly jealous of Josh's successes. Not that they have ever been blamed.
In third and fourth grade, Josh was as good looking as he was smart. Well, maybe he was smarter than that. In third grade Joshua got the pleasure of doing a science fair project at Eastside. This was and might just will be, the only science fair project that Josh ever will do. With the help of his aunt Josh recieved an A+ on it. After asking what he recieved the teacher said, "What do you think you got?"
Josh moved on, and kept on moving up in school. He eventually made it to 5th grade. There he completed his first ever term paper. He did it on New Brunswick and recieved an A+ on his second ever long term project. This can only be a start to many more things to come.
Sixth Grade
Talk about a big, year! No long term projects, but this is the year of the founding of a great company. One so renowned that it still echoes in the valley's and rattle's in the dells. JQP was founded. It started out pretty simple, create a item and try to sell it. It was a typical, boring, language/speech assignment. The company started out with one product, Josh's fine Pickle's (their always crisp and crunchy ya know!) in art, and then eventually became JQP. The first ever JQP Product was JQP's Toothpaste.(With over 65 flavors and five sizes of toothpaste, you couldn't go wrong) After that, the rest is a really long story that I quite frankly and bluntly, don't want to get into.
7th Grade
Not a very exciting year. Flag football, and forensic's. But other than that, a pretty broing year for Josh. In forensic's he performed some Monty Python plays with his friends David Heyn and Peter Trapp. They, of course, got all A's and then became Eastside's favorite forensic's group, which took alot out of Josh to sign all of those autographs.
8th Gråðë===========>
Josh's last year at Eastside was a terrific one. Josh had several things to do and lots of. He got to do another term paper. This time he did it on Stonewall Jackson, and he got another A+. While at ELS that year, he also participated in flag football once more, this year his team had a winning season. This year in forensics he did a original composition entitles Talent Night with four other people. He also joined student council and cut out little box tops and a whole bunch of other stuff for them.
This is a typical box top. In order to get that 10 or 5 cents per box for your school, someone has to cut it out and remove the back cardboard on the box top, this saves postage money. This, was also one of Josh's jobs. After you cut and peeled, you had to bundle them in packs of 50 and then rubber band them. Some people just sent the whole top of the box in, and others just sent in the box top. Sometimes the top would be ripped or tapped, and sometimes they would be so small, that you would need a tweezers just to cut around it. This, small and humble task, was Josh's major contribution to Student Council.
Graduation &Conformation
You might have heard it said, "Parting is such sweet sorrow", sometimes it is, and for all of Josh's classmates, it was. Josh's graduating class of 20 was going to split up. They had a total of 8 different schools that those 20 students were going to go to. Most went to LLHS, but some went other places. Joshua graduated ELS, in Spring of 99'. On their Personalities sheet, Joshua was voted as having the thickest hair. He also had the Nicest hair. In addition to that, he also had the weirdest laugh. Even to this day, Josh thinks that the personalities sheet was rigged. Something wrong with that committee.
Not to much to say about Josh's
conformation, he was confirmed May 16th, 1999. His passage was
Joshua 1:9 "Have I commanded you? Be strong and courageous,
do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God
will be with you, where ever you go."
And this concludes Josh's life. Come again after some other new and significant event. If you have questions or comments email me at schultzjoshua@hotmail.com.Or if you want to see my other pages visit my home page at www.angelfire.com/wi2/jqptoday.
