For many Turkmen people especially for those living far from their Motherland it has really become a handbook. With its golden lines this book has connected its compatriots with their native land and revealed in a new way the history of their people and the present of the independent and progressive country.
In particular, the head of the Voronezh Society of Turkmen Culture M. Rejepov said: "Without any exaggeration we can say that Ruhnama has radically changed our spiritual life and influenced our world outlook. Both the first and second books have become a source of wisdom for us."

I am happy that this book entered my life since the moment of its publication in Russian and that in the nearest future I will use an opportunity to visit Turkmenistan and to see the changes happening in the ancient Turkmen land with my own eyes."

The Moscow poetess Lyudmila Shchipakhina remembers well the time when Turkmenistan was one of the less socio-economic developed countries of the former empire. Nowadays she is struck by the scales of the reforms happening in Turkmenistan.
The poetess said: "I am happy that under the leadership of its President Turkmenistan has become a powerful state. On receiving the book of Ruhnama some years ago, I was absorbed in reading feeling as if I came back again to that remarkable country to its remarkable people."
