Noah's Ark

This cooperative play game is fun for the whole family.

TO MAKE GAMEBOARD:
Use a pretty colored file folder and attach a picture of Noah's Ark. This can be drawn or find one in Sunday School papers, on the Internet, or a coloring book. I used a pretty notepad picture that I had found. I used white, and red 3/4" circle stickers to create the four paths to the ark. The other spaces were created using reinforcement stickers. The kind you put on notebook paper if you tear the hole.

4 ANIMAL GAMEPIECES
I made these with simple squares of bristol and small animal stickers. I covered them with clear contact paper.

QUESTION CARDS
I wrote 48 question cards from our study of Noah's Ark. I put the answers right on the question cards, to eliminate the need of an answer key.

DIRECTIONS FOR FUN COOPERATIVE PLAY:
To begin the game, each animal is placed at the start of each path to the ark. In turn, players are asked a question and give a response. If they are correct, they shake a dice and may move any animal forward that number of spaces. The object is to work together and get all animals on board the ark before all the questions are read. If an animal lands on a red space, it has to return to the beginning of its path. If an animal lands on a space with a green center, the player gets another turn.
