Motorola Radius SP50 Information

The Motorola SP50 is another neat radio. The one I own was a two channel but like the GP300 I modified it for ten channel. It is a UHF 450 MHz to 480 MHz. This does not help the ham community. As we all know (at least hams I hope) the U.S. 440 ham bands are from 430 MHz to 450 MHz. This is (like all Motorola in one way or another) modifiable. All SP50 modifications will be explained on this page.
