Earning a Single Subject Korean Credential
The Single Subject Korean Credential with Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD) is a state-approved professional preparation program that enables students to earn a Korean teaching credential which is primarily for teaching secondary grades. The CLAD emphasis entitles individuals to teach students who are Limited English Proficient (LEP).
The CLAD emphasis also includes a second language experience requirement that may be met in a number of ways.
Admission Requirements
All applicants are required to possess a bachelors degree from an approved college or university with at least a 2.75 GPA to be considered for full admission to the program. Provisional acceptance is available to other applicants who do not possess the minimum grade point average.
