Roadie's Wrestling Views

Okay wrestling fans, here's a column about various different things in the wide world of
wrestling that I feel deserve commenting on. You may notice that there will be more comments of
the WWF than the "other guys".
Let's start off with Jeff Jarrett. I think Jarrett's new found gimmick as a "woman beater" is
absolutely great. Sure, as a female I am totally offended but from a business stand point, this
has got to be the best thing for him. Why, you ask? Because Jarrett has had a string of useless
and pointless gimmicks that have followed him his whole career but now he has a clearly defined
character that you either hate or love. Jarrett is getting much more attention and more people
will be watching him closely which is probably the best professional move he could have ever
done.
Moving on, I am looking forward to Taz entering the WWF. I'm curious to see if he will sky
rocket or if he will be somewhat stupid like the Dudley Boys. The Dudleys had a great career in
ECW but they have not been that great in the WWF. Hopefully this will not happen to Taz.
I hope the rumours about a new DX will come true. I think the new DX should consist of Triple
H, Chyna, the New Age Outlaws, and Chris Jericho. X-Pac shouldn't be in the new DX because of
his "marriage" with Kane, so to speak. The new DX will be a heel group, according to rumours,
so X-Pac would not fit in it since he is purely a babyface with Kane. Jericho would fit in
perfectly with the new DX if he dropped Curtis Hughes since DX has always been based on
charisma and sometimes arrogance and Jericho has those factors.
People frequently ask me what I think about the New Age Outlaws getting back together. I think
it is absolutely great since both of their careers blasted off when they were together. People
also ask me, is Billy trustworthy? I have to say, it doesn't really matter because all I care
about is that they are back together and I just want to enjoy even if it may only be for a
little while.
Will somebody please explain to me why there is a Kane hype? I just don't understand how he is
a fan favorite and I would really like to know what people see in him since I have tried to
understand and it has ended up in failure.
The WWF is suffering yet another sexual harassment lawsuit. This time it is being filed by
former WWF employee Nicole Bass. She has filed a $120 million lawsuit against the WWF. All I
have to say is, "Yuck! Who would sexually harass her?"
This time I will talk a bit about "the other guys". WCW is now apparently saving $4 million
since they have gotten rid of the Nitro girls and have cut several employees from their roster.
There is a rumour also stating that WCW has decided not to have anymore "Road Wild"
pay-per-views. I think they should just get rid of Hulk Hogan who is probably taking most of
their money anyways and NOT entertaining the WCW fans.
Well, I think that is enough of a column for this week. Maybe their will be a new column next
week..:) So if you enjoyed this you better check back regularly to see if I have written a new
column.
Peace out!!!
