a bit this week. More 80's tunes have been added to the playlist and their
request lunch from noon to 1pm has been replaced with the "80's Cafe."
Starting Saturday morning at 6am, WGFB kicks off their all 80's weekends.

IL Correction: The comments made below on
the format switch for WNIB/WNIZ are only for WNIZ. WNIB did not return
to the air rebroadcasting WTMX, instead
the 97.1 frequency stayed off the air and returned hours later stunting
with "format of the day."

IL 97.1 WNIB Chicago, and repeater WNIZ 96.9
Zion, faded out their classical format followed by about a minute of dead
air. At 12:01 am Bonneville officially took over the stations and began
rebroadcasting co-owned Modern AC "The Mix." Apparantly Bonneville
has yet to decied on a format for 97.1 & 96.9.

(CHR "Z104") Madison started their new permanant morning show on Monday
morning called "Connie & Fish." Also on Monday, Z104 changed their
"Flashback Lunch" to an "All Raquest Lunch" and they updated their website,
although I havent been able to connect to it.
WI Ratings for the Madison
market we released on the January 30th, and Magic-98 remains Madison most
listened to station (12+) with a 10.3 share. News/Talk'er WIBA-AM takes
second place with an 8.7 share followed by Z104 with an 8.1 share for third
place. Entercom's WMMM leaps into fourth place with a 6.1 share, and Q106
ets a 5.7 share for 5th place. Stations with the biggest gain (Su00 to
Fa00) were WIBA-AM, WBZU, and WMMM. Stations with the biggest loss were
WOLX, WJJO, and WZEE.
