Setlist

This show if from the Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness Tour. I don't thihink this is the complete setlist. It is a good quality audience recording with clear vocals. The Pumpkins were in a good mood, and do a lot of talking. The first eight songs are all acoustic, along with piano on some. James sings "Take Me Down". "Today" sounds very different, but pretty cool in this acoustic version.

Here are some of the interesting things the band has to say:

  • "Once again, rumours of our demise are greatly flabbergasted".

  • "You're a rowdy bunch of motherfuckers. I'm so glad we're only playing acoustic tonight, or things might get out of hand...What? You can't take a joke here? We were here not too long ago. You could take a joke back then. I seem to remember our Lolapalooza set being very funny."

  • "So what's this place called?" "I can't hear you!" "ZX Laundry, is that what this place is called?" "I guess it's called Bert's Socks".

  • BILLY: "The Reebok Company was nice enough to give me these ugly shoes."
JAMES: "I think they're pretty fly!"
BILLY: "I would wear these if I had no legs".
JAMES: "They're just trying to keep it real."
BILLY: "I would like to give these shoes away to some lucky people. Mr. Brady's dead, if you know what I mean. "The boys' size is 12, girls' 20, so raise your hand." "It looks like we're going to have to have a relay race after the show to win these lovely Reebok shoes. But I ain't gonna give them to you now, or you'll just hit me in the fucking head. I know that trick, let me tell you.

  • "D'arcy vocal on lead Wretzky"

  • "Relax, take a deep breath. You're all fuckin' Californians. I mean, chill the fuck out! We expect this shit back in the Midwest where the people aren't so bright.

  • BILLY: "You're all just rats in the cage. Despite all my anger, I'm a trapped marsupial in a steel enclosure. My name is Fred, thanks for coming!"
