WARM HOLIDAY MEMORIES...

The JACKSON COUNTY YOUTH THEATER COMPANY opens it's season with CHRISTMAS AT HOME. The Burgess family is busy with the usual preparations for Christmas, acutely aware that this is the first time in years the family will not all be together. Johnny is in Chicago, and Grandpa died the preceding summer, but the Burgesses do not feel sorry for themselves. In a series of humorous and touching scenes we see fourteen year old Julie falling in love for the first time, eighteen year old Emily receiving a proposal of marriage, and ten year old Janet learning the real meaning of Christmas. With two shows at Melrose Mindoro High School and two mor at 3rd Street Elementary in Black River Falls, JCYTC draws over 150 to see it's opening production. Tenderly and sympathetically told, CHRISTMAS AT HOME captures the real Christmas spirit.
