FABULOUS FANTASY FABLE...
The JACKSON COUNTY YOUTH THEATER COMPANY closes it's season with the fantasy tale, J.R.R. TOLKEIN'S THE HOBBIT. The production is the first ever fully student-produced show by JCYTC. Students were responsible for all aspects of the production including set, props, costumes and make-up. The classic Tolkein tale is told in two acts, and is a colorful fanciful fable. Five year veteran Sarah Franks portrays Bilbo Baggins, the meek hobbit who is wrangled into a fantastic adventure by Gandalf the WIzard (Zach Hoffman) and Thorin Oakenshield (Adam Nichols). During the trek he meets up with hungry trolls, vicious goblins and the dangerous mighty Smowg, the dragon under the mountain. A fun adventure is had by all. |
