Saltwater Crocodile

CROCODILE - Extra Information

© Ann Williams-Fitzgerald 1999

The key words around our crocodile are Past Lives, Secrets, Watchfulness, Progress, Karma & Hidden. The crocodile that we have depicted is the saltwater crocodile but this card is for ALL CROCODILE’S salt and freshwater. We have chosen saltwater to depicted within this book and card set.

Crocodile is card number 25 in the deck and this vibrates to the numerology number of seven. Seven lends objectivity and seeks to improve. The Number Seven is a Law unto itself and is the testing energy for all planes and dimensions of life. There is no acceptance of established or formatted preconceived, ideas, plans, and information or for that matter accepted facts. This is the number of the age-old question "Why?” and seeks discovery at each and every possible opportunity. This is the number of the eternal student/teacher relationships.

Seven is the number of the Universe - The Explorer…... Colours: Old Rose, Purple, Magenta, Brick and Pearl. Seven is the three of the heavens (soul) combined with the four (body) of the earth; being the first number containing both the spiritual and the temporal. In looking over the list of meanings it doesn't take long to figure out why the seven has become significant in metaphysical, religious and other spiritual doctrines...seven represents the virginity of the "Great Mother". The seventh ray of the sun is the path by which the human beings pass from this world to the next. Seven days is the period for fasting and penitence. The seventh power of any number, both square and a cube and thus was given great importance. Seven is a mystic number traditionally associated with Venus and more recently with Neptune. It is the number of feelings and of instincts - of the Group Mind, of Love, whether that strange, indescribable but pervasive feeling of love is towards another person, a pet, oneself or one's God. 'Love' embodies tremendous sexual energy, the emotions of which may be directed in various ways.

The Rune symbol depicted on crocodile is the Rune of ‘Algiz’. This is the rune of protection, and whispers to us that control of our emotions is at issue here. During times of transition, shifts in life course and accelerated self-change, it is important not to collapse ourselves into our emotions, the highs as well as the lows. This rune serves as a mirror for the Spiritual Warrior, the one whose battle is always with the self. We will progress, knowing this our protection.

Our crocodile is depicted silently watching us from his watery home. His is sitting in a bright yellow rectangle surrounded by lime green. Yellow being the colour of our 3rd Chakra and seat of our power but also the place we store our emotional issues. Hidden within the lime green is a Reiki symbol, which is used to access past lives. Green is the colour of our heart centre, the 4th Chakra. Lime green is the colour of our Diaphragm Chakra (the one between our 4th Heart and our 3rd Solar Plexus.

The Medicine

The medicine of Crocodile is Past Lives, Secrets and Watchfulness. Saltwater Crocodile silently coasts along, submerged beneath the water of his aquarian world. He carries in his plate-like skin the memories of Past Lives, his long evolutionary path enabling him to watch all, as his lives progress down through the ages. He knows all the secrets of the Karma of humanity.

The Shadow Side

There is a danger of keeping submerged, the lessons about yourself, that you are refusing to face.

Crocodile has a message for you
