Hart and Alex met in an art class when Hart was in his early teens. They realized each other's talents and played together sporadically for the next 2 years until Hart took an "extended vacation", to undergo some "character development"...yeah...anyways, upon Hart's return, another 3 years later, other faces had already played two shows and had a whole set of songs. This was very convenient for Hart, as he was looking for a band to join. Hart then collaborated with other faces, first on the guitar, then on drums, thus reforging the strong musical bond between Hart and Alex. Hart became a permanent member during July of 2001, and has helped to create a new more diverse sound for other faces. Some musical projects which he enjoys are Cap'n Jazz, Braid, At the Drive In, Chick Corea, Radiohead, Sigur Ros and the list goes on.
