BLACK BEAR GREAT DANES

Spazimoto was found wandering the streets of Ft. Worth Texas. Animal control called and asked me if I would take her. They knew I had a dane, and that I inspected kennels and breeders for USDA. When I first saw Spaz I didn't think she was a dane. Her hair was brown and white, she was suffering from malnutrition and mentally very depressed. As you can see from her photos she recovered nicely. In fact she became top dog of my growing herd. When Spaz said something (like I'm going to eat now) everyone else listened. Spaz had one big problem, she liked skunks. Guess she figured they were relatives cause they were the same colors. She got sprayed several times one summer. Do you have ANY idea how much tomato juice it takes to deskunk a dane? The topper was when she chased one under the house (pier and beam) and it traveled the whole length of the house, spraying all the way. It took weeks for the smell to leave.
