I've loved sharks since I was six years old. I grew up in New Brunswick on the coast. I'm a professional dog trainer and I'm trying
to educate myself about these kings and queens of the seas.

My interest in sharks was awakened a few years back after meeting a
friend who is a Shark Lover. Thanks to him I have grown to like these
amazing animals. I still do not know much about them. I follow the Shark L
and now joined this chat room and everyday I learn something new.
Hope to meet many more shark lovers here.

I'm currently a grad student at Memorial University of Newfoundland and I'm working
on fish biochemistry and physiology (with as much emphasis on
elasmobranchs as I can. I have a graduate degree from
Guelph University (Marine Biology). My interest in sharks,
their kin, & most other fish started when I was 4. Things have come a long way
from chasing rock bass in the local river.

Presently, I'm working on my Microbiology/Biochemistry degree at the
University of Victoria in B.C., Canada. My interest in sharks started at
around age 5 when I saw the movie "Jaws". In the future, I hope to learn
more about sharks and to be involved in conservation biology.
The Sharkman
Since I first saw "Blue Water White Death" back in the late 60's, my
interest in sharks was born. I work as a Scuba diving instructor, here on my
home Island of Malta. I am also the Shark Programme Co-ordinator for the
MARINE LIFE CARE GROUP {Malta}.
My dreams..... Am fighting to get the WHITE SHARK protected in
Malta.......... and to dive with the White Shark.
