Chapter three: "Meet and Greet"

"Jen! You made it! Holy cow!", Niqoule said all excited. "We're going to meet them!"

I ran to the inside of the place from the outside of Bay Beach. The cops told us NOT to run otherwise we would have been kicked out otherwise. Oh well...I ran. They didn't do anything about it. I was 9th in line out of 2,000 screaming, excited fans. Most of us that were first got along great. Others, well...were kinda stuck up in that sense. A guy who was around 17 or 18, had his guitar playing Hanson songs for us as we sang along. That was our entertainment for the next 6 ½ hours. We stood there until it stopped raining. The ground was wet, so we threw a blanket down. I talked to Abby for a long time about Hanson. Her favorite was between Isaac and Taylor. She knew that I was a bigger Taylor fan though.

I fainted from heat exhaustion that day. I was in the ambulance for about 20 minutes. I thought I wasn't going to meet them. So I started freaking out. I was upset. After that incident, I went back into line. I was still in 8th in line. Everyone was getting upset because it was 11:30 and Hanson still wasn't there. The concert was suppose to be at 12 but they delayed it to 12:45.

They came around noon and headed to the beach house to sign some autographs for clients. They came outside around 12:15 to sign for us now. 4,000 girls waited in line only 200 hundred got to meet them and get their autographs. A few girls left from the line to go to the bathroom before they came outside, the radio station said that we couldn't get back into line if we left.

I hurried to the bathroom so I wouldn't miss a glimpse of them. I got back into line, so did the others. They weren't going to get in our way to meet them. Hanson finally came out and everyone started to crowd one another. It was hectic. I felt bad for the three of them, screaming fans and a lot were freakin out. They come to Wisconsin and this is what they get.

I thought I was going to be one of those, "Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh", fans. I thought wrong. As I shook Taylor's hand, I was normal. They were just normal guys...that were extremely hot. I said what's up to Zac, he laughed and said what's up back as he shook my hand. Isaac handed me a signed shirt, said thanks for coming, and also shook my hand. They were nice.

I was disgusted with the security guards though. They didn't know what they were doing. They literally pushed us to get away from them so others could meet them. I still knew that I was going to meet them again that day. Without security guards, without the radio station, without anyone there. Except me and Hanson.
