1450 WKAL NY Rome


WKAL 1450 NY Rome is 1kw full-time, non-directional. It's currently on the air doing engineering tests. Airing the 1920s Radio Network until the main format is put into place.
Big band type music from the 1900s through 1950. Music that will cut through the graveyard channel noise. A jingle and ID at the top and bottom of every hour. On Saturday night, which will actually be Sunday morning here in the eastern time zone, May 5 at 0000 until 0030 and again at 0100 until 0130, WKAL will insert CW IDs, alternating between 1000khz and 400hz tones.
