Kiola owns two Haflingers. Lucky (M-gone West CSA), an eight year old gelding and Nightingale BCH who will be turning 3 years old in May. Nightie has been Kiola's first "baby" horse to raise, and it has been a joy!

Lorraine owns one half-Haflinger, Summer, and loves her to distraction, and hopes to one day own (at least) one more. She's a strong advocate for doing whatever you want with your Haflinger (They're like little Napoleons – they don't know the words 'quite' or 'can't do this') She plans to take Summer trail-riding, on competitive trail trials and trail rides, and as high up in the levels of Dressage as Summer will go. Lorraine adores driving Haflingers as well as riding where-ever she can. Though she's ridden and enjoyed the company of many other horse breeds, the Haflinger has won her heart. Lorraine is very happy to be the WHA newsletter editor.

The owner of two Haflingers, Marjorie received the H.O.P.E. award in 2008. She and her gelding Mariko logged 340 hours in recreational riding. They show year round with Mariko winning the American Haflinger Registry Grand Champion Riding Division for 2008 with performance classes in English, Western, Dressage, Showmanship and Trail.

Gale Emmons and her husband, Joe, own Lila-Jane (Alladin van de Peelkant x Lily Dusty--Maestro) and two crossbred Haflinger Mustangs.
They design, build and restore carriages (check her website here angelfire.com/or2/buggyworks ). Recently they built a country gig sized just for Lila-Jane. Gale has been driving for more than half-a-century!
