The Love Pug Strikes Again - Part III

Disclaimer: Ok this is the next installment in the Pug saga. PG rating right now but by the time the stag party rolls around it will be NC-17. This is half of the second part cause my beta still has the rest. (don't worry Lyza, no pressure there.) Here we go.. and by the way I only own myself.

When I pulled away from Pug I was shaking. It was amazing how the mere touch of our bodies had caused me to quiver, and not because I was cold. His power marched over me in little waves and I couldn't believe all this had been caused by only a touch. I shook my head and spoke but my voice was barely above a whisper. "I think we should go back out to rejoin Kash and Luce." Pug just stood there as if in a trance. Then he nodded and followed me back out into the living room. It seemed that I hadn't been the only one affected. Kash was still snuggled up against Luce. They watched us walk into the room, with knowing smiles on their faces. Did they know I'd agreed to take Pug up on his offer? Probably so. I turned my attention to Luce. "I think we can go back now." He stood and pulled Kash to her feet with him. "Of course." He turned to Pug. "I guess you will be going back to work?" He made it a question but it sounded more like an order. "Right away!", he answered then paused; he had thought of something else that he wanted to say. "Though I would like to have this weekend off if possible?" Luce raised an eyebrow at the request. "Is there a specific reason?" Pug looked over at me with a growing smile as he spoke. "I have a date." Luce grinned. "In that case, I will allow it." Pug leaned over and whispered to me. "I'll call you later." His lips brushed my ear and that tingling feeling was back. I felt things tighten low in my body and I gasped. It had been a long time since I'd been with anyone and the feelings he could ignite in me are more than I'd ever felt from a normal man, even in the best of situations. He had to quit touching me or I wasn't going to be responsible for my actions. I was betting sex with him would be explosive. I shook myself out of my X-rated daydream as Pug disappeared. I stepped closer to Luce and Kash and they were both staring at me. "What?" I asked in a loud voice. They simultaneously said, "Nothing," but the knowing looks on their faces said they knew I was falling for Pug...and fast. The next day I was getting ready for work, part of that meant getting Ashley ready to go stay with my parents for the evening. I'd just pulled her out of the bathtub and now she was running through the apartment naked. I was chasing behind her with a pull-up in my hand and she was squealing. She thought getting dressed was some kind of game. The phone rang just as I caught her. I grabbed the cordless off the wall. "Hello", I answered as I struggled to get her into some underwear before she thought it would be funny to pee in the floor. "Hi," said the masculine voice on the other end of the phone. It was Pug. I tried to keep the giddiness out of my voice by trying to sound nonchalant about him calling me. Truth be told, I had butterflies doing loop de loops in my stomach. "Oh...hi." He must have heard Ashley's protests in the background cause he was suddenly asking me if this was a bad time. I wanted to say never, but settled for, "No. Ashley just doesn't like to wear clothes. She would run around naked all the time if I'd allow it." "I don't blame her for that. Were you getting ready to go somewhere?" I blatantly ignored his statement about being naked."Actually yeah. I've got to work tonight. I was getting Ashley ready to go to my parent's house. They keep her while I'm at work." "You work odd hours. It's almost two in the afternoon." "Yeah I work second shift, three till eleven. It's nice though. Ashley and I stay up till about two in the morning and sleep till noon." "A couple of night owls huh?" He laughed. "I was calling about our date." I put my child down and she ran playfully to her toy box and began pulling everything out of it. "What about it? Is there something wrong?" I hated to admit that I was really excited about spending some time with him. "No nothing's wrong. I wanted to know if there was any place specific that you wanted to go? Like the movies or out to eat? Or if there was anything specific you wanted to do?" I could just picture the mischevious smile on his face. This was yet another comment I was going to ignore and since I didn't trust myself to sit next to him in the dark and behave..."Dinner sounds nice." He gave a little laugh that I was beginning to enjoy hearing. "OK, dinner Saturday night…and then what else?" "Surprise me." I regretted that the moment it came out of my mouth. There was that laugh again. "I'm sure I can manage that." I guess Ashley had gotten bored with her toys because now she was tugging at my pants leg. "Go see nana. Go see papa." "Um, Pug I have to go. I can't be late for work." "Ok I'll pick you up Saturday night. Is eight o'clock okay?" "That sounds good. Did you make arrangements for Ashley?" "Don't worry. I promised to take care of it and I did. We'll drop her off first and then go out." "I can't help but worry. I'm nervous about leaving my only child. Ashley doesn't take well to strangers, and we are talking about daycare in hell." "Didn't my tour help you at all?" "Yeah, I know you don't torture anyone who doesn't deserve it but still...shit, just call it motherly instincts or whatever. I worry over her when she's not with me." "I PROMISE you she will be fine. I wouldn't suggest it if I thought she would get hurt in any way, besides if something happened Kash would probably hunt me down and cause me some serious bodily harm, if not kill me. Luce would join her." Strangely, that made me feel better. "OK I'll see you Saturday. I've really got to go now." We said our goodbyes, the I hung up the phone and scooped my daughter into my arms. I wanted things to work out. I wanted someone around to help me keep Ashley safe and I thought Pug could do that...the fact that he was nice eye candy for me didn't hurt either. Maybe there was some hope for my love life after all. I dropped Ashley off at my parents and headed to work. The evening went by even slower than normal. If this was any indication of how the next four days were gonna be, then it was shaping up to be a very long week. My boss decided to get on my case about an hour or so before it was time to go home, so by eleven I was rushing to get out the door. When I arrived at the parking lot I found a rose on the windshield of my blazer with a little envelope attached to it. It read: UNTIL SATURDAY and was signed with only a P. It had to be from Pug, but he didn't know where I worked or what I drove. I was betting one of my friends had told him, probably Kash. I kept the rose in the car when I picked up Ashley. Dad probably wouldn't say anything but I knew mom would question me about the flower and I wasn't ready to provide her with any information yet. Ashley spotted the rose once we got in the car. She kept saying, "pretty flower" until she fell asleep in the backseat. I put the rose in a vase on my nightstand after I put Ashley to bed. I drifted off with thoughts of what surprises Saturday might bring.
