Happy Birthday My Love

BY: Cassy

Actually, this poem it TO Cassy from her husband for her 36th birthday. And Ash wonders why she stays with the man. Ash doesn't write such lovely poems of affection. "blinks expectantly" She promises me that she'll have something of her own for this section soon. Needless to say I only promise to hold my breath so long.

If I was given just one wish
Know what I would do?
I'd put it in a pretty box
And I'd give the wish to you
I have no need for it
I have all that I desire
Your love is the wind beneath my wings
I can fly no higher
You fill my soul with happiness
My heart you brought to life
You're an angel sent from heaven
You're my woman you're my wife
I know we're going through troubled times
And the road ahead looks rough
And I know we'll both get weary
And we want to scream, "ENOUGH!"
But through all our trials and tribulations
When others thought that we would fall
We held tightly to one another
And our love has conquered all.
