Sage stayed hidden in the flower pots as the Sidhe huddled around the answering machine. "So, Merry's pregnant..." the demifey whispered to himself. "I wonder which of these arrogant pretties is the father. Not that it will matter. Merry will change the Court to how she wants it. Wait until Queen Niceven hears this. She will be happy! And surely Merry won't hold her to a marriage that neither person wants to be with." Sage fluttered from plant to plant exicitedly for a minute or two. Then he saw Doyle's gaze turn to him and ducked behind a bush agian. "Can't let them know I heard," Sage decided. "I wonder what favors Andais would grant if the demifey gave her this news. Or Cel." Sage spent a few minutes thinking of things he could ask for. Then he thought of the fact that either of those two wouldn't hesitate to torture him rather than negotiate for the information. "Not worth it," he said to the ladybug on the leaf next to him. "Got to get this to Queen Nivecen. She will figure out a way to use this to better the demifey's position." Sage nodded to himself, satisfied with his decision. Then he curled up on a leaf and dozed, waiting until he could sneak to a mirror undetected.
