The house was deathly quiet.  The remaining four Ravens and Kitto 
sat on the porch staring out into the darkness.  The door opened 
quietly and Merry stepped through to join them.  Frost turned to her 
and took her hand.



"We should all go back inside theres no sense in sitting here 
in the dark." Merry said with a far away look in her eyes.
Frost and Merry led the way through the door followed closely by 
Kitto and the rest of the guards.  Everyone took up positions in 
the living room.



"Frost, who do you think the Queen is sending to replace 
Doyle?"  Nicca asked quietly.


     
"I don't really know for sure, we can only hope that it is 
someone who is not going to spy on Merry for the Queen.  I 
personally am hoping that it is some of the lesser guards, who won't 
working wiht the system we already have in place." Frost said.


    
"I still don't like the idea that Doyle had to go at all.  I 
can only hope now that the Queen won't send someone I loath just 
because she thinks it will be a fun game" Merry said with disgust.


    
"You know I've been wondering," Rhys began,"what if this attack 
by Methal was just a setup to get the Queen to pull some of us back 
to Fairy and leave Merry's guard depleted.  Even though we are 
expecting an attack, with one of stronger members gone and new 
replacements we sitll could be at a disadvantage."



"You could be very right Rhys," Frost agreed," it may well be a 
trap, but what choice did we have."



Suddenly there was a knock at the door.
