This is a page dedicated to my 1967 Chevrolet C10. I bought this turd last March, and learned a bit about its history at that time, and since then. The original owner was an old dude that bought it new from the factory, equipped exactly as-is, with no options except to haul crap in the bed. It was then used in his odd-jobs business for the next who knows how many years. Then, something happened to him (I have no idea) and his daughter, who lives in Indianapolis, acquired it, and let it sit in her driveway at her lake house under a pine tree for the next 8 years. She got sick and tired of looking at it, and gave it to the local mechanic, who stuck it in his lot, where I asked about it, and bought it for $300. I've pissed off more than a few people by buying this truck, simply because they wanted to get it but didn't have the stones to go through with it.
regardless, this is a HUGE project. Every body panel on it will need replaced, patched or beaten out, the suspension is shot and needs replaced, the electrical system is a shambles, it needs new wood and bed strips, and the interior needs completely replaced. So far, I've pulled the tailgate, side trim (what was left of it), front trim, and the entire interior, with the exception of the pedals, instrument panel, steering column and seat. I do need to drive it a bit...more to come later.
