Well, this is my school, Culver Military academy. It's located on Lake Maxincukee and is in the middle of cornfields. I am a senior this year and am in the Band Company. On the Male side, we have quite a few different distinctions. Band company has 59 students this year and they play anything from a flute to my instrument, the Tuba. UPDATE I've now got pictures of the Lancer Band, the Honor Organization. click here

The troop consists of 65 cadets. Our stable consists of 81 horses. In it is the honor organization, the Lancers, better known as the world renowned Black Horse Troop, which has ridden in every presidential inaguration since the beginning of the school with the exception of Clinton's in 1992.

The Culver Artillery, is popularly called the Battery. Their "Stable" consists of 7 Dodge M-37's. Five were manufactured in 1951, one from 1952, and the last, the Command, in 1967. There are two 1978 Dodge Power Wagons with 318's and full time 4WD. They are on permanent loan from the US Army and will probably be auctioned off soon. The last group of trucks is 6 Kaiser Deuce and a halfs. They run Multifuel engines(DON'T RUN AVGAS IN A MULTIFUEL! hehe). They were bought in 1970 by the Academies. Also, we have 8 35mm Howitzer cannons. These fire full blank rounds and use shot tubes.

The Infantry doesn't really have a specialty. It's for the people who don't even care to crap a shell into the rearend of a cannon.

Oh, and we can't forget the girls. Yes, the Culver Girls Academy. mmm. Anyway, they make up about half of the students on campus and live in 7 different dorms. They aren't militarized(with the exception of the CGA drill team - Watch for them on the site soon!) Also, as I'm in the Theater, check here for shots in action at Eppley.
