Dalaran tightened the embrace of Ganis as they layed on her bed. Dalaran liked Ganis bed. It was roomy for one, and just about small enough for two people to cuddle up with eachother. Dalaran had a bed like that of her own back home, but it was always lonely sleeping in it, basically because Ganis wasn't there.

-I don't want to go home, Dalaran whispered. -I don't want to go home to that crazy grandmother of mine.

She moved her head a bit and then settled down on Ganis chest right above her breasts. Ganis stroke her fingertips on Dalaran's arm and smelled her hair; dug her right hand fingers into it and whispered 'You know you have to'.

-...but I don't want to, Dalaran said as she closed her eyes and felt her throat tighten up like it always did when the feelings got overwhealming and the tears were building up.

She'd been in love with Ganis for a great while and she knew Ganis felt the same about her. Dalaran cursed the distance between them and wished she could move closer to Ganis. A void had begun to take shape inside Dalaran. Not one day passed without her feeling empty inside. The only time she felt complete was during those short moments when she talked to Ganis on the phone or got a letter from her. Ganis always sent little notes and things to declare her love for Dalaran. It was only during those short periods of time Dalaran felt almost complete. But the joy of getting a note or letter always changed to utter sadness when she realised she missed Ganis more then she did only minutes earlier.

-I don't want you to leave either... but there's nothing we can do about the current situation. Ganis said in her kind and sensible way.

She hated the fact that she couldn't make Dalaran feel better. She hated to see her love upset and always tried to make it better. But this time she knew she was unable to make things better. It was the same thing everytime they got together. The last night was always the most difficult to get through. They knew they wouldn't see eachother for a while and tried to make the best of the situation each time.

Ganis kept stroking Dalaran's arm as she tried to figure out what to say. She heard Dalaran's breathing turn louder and slightly irregular. Her grip of Dalaran's neck tightened for a short while and then moved her hand to the back.

-You ok? she asked softly. She knew her pretty well and felt something wasn't quite what it used to be.

Dalaran inhaled loudly and felt the tears well up inside of her. She didn't like to cry in the precence of Ganis. She didn't want to upset her. She knew it would tear her up if she saw how unhappy Dalaran was. But the tears couldn't be stopped. Her throat ached and sent out bolts of pain to her ears.

-No, she said with a clogged up nose. -I'm dot ok. I dod't want to leave you, you dow that. I dod't feel cobplete whend you're dot with be.

Dalaran closed her eyes as hard as she could to avoid her breathing to crack up in uncontrolably snivels.

-Babee... said Ganis and embraced her loved one in a tight hug. That was the final straw for Dalaran. The tears came running down her cheeks landing on Ganis' shirt. Dalaran burried her face in Ganis chest as she turned to her side and pulled Dalaran closer. 'Now you're going to make me cry. I don't want you to feel like this; and when you do you make me cry too.' Ganis held Dalaran so close and so tight it was amazing they could both breathe.

-Be patient dear. Be patient. Because someday... someday...

she said as they both lost themselves into the moment of now, not thinking of what would come next.
