About Space Oddity 1.0

What the H is Space Oddity 1.0, you ask. Well, to make it really short I’d say ’It’s my webpage’. But I take it that it’s not a very satisfying answer so I’ll have to go with the long explenation.
Space Oddity 1.0 is the product of about two years collecting info. It all started at an online diary site. My diary was growing and instead of adding special pages which would disappear amongst the regular entries I decided to create a second diary where I would keep things such as diary rings, diary reviwes and other fun stuff. The second diary started to grow after I found Tatu/Taty/t.A.T.u. The lack of collected info on other sites started to aggrevate me and so I decided to put together all their lyrics (English, Russian written in western signs and Cyrillic) in one place, pictures from magazines, chords etc.
To cut it short: All of a sudden my wee collection of fun stuff had turned into a wee website; and as my knowledge for webdesign grew, I found it difficult to keep all my stuff at a site made for diaries. I had to work around certain settings which caused more problems than anything else. My search for free hosts with html editor resulted in this place. All I needed was a name.

The name came to me at work while I was listening to Tori Amos’ "To Venus and Back". She mentions Space Oddity in one of her songs and I thought it would be a brilliant name for a website like this. CyberSpace. Odd stuff in one place. Space Oddity 1.0.
