Episode Guide- Season One
South Side is in it's first season and has had numerous episodes.
Unwritten Rules: The Premier two part episode. In this episode we're introduced to the main characters and watch them form a tight, cohesive group. Matt, who is experiencing a painful break up with his girlfriend Krystyna, admits that he likes their mutal friend Kathryn. In another storyline, Sean and Emily start a relationship after a mistakenly sent e-mail from ecrush.
Never Let Claire Dress You Up When A Video Camera is Present: A rather badly written episode, the cast has fun with a video camera. They drive around the town, Matt drops Emily on the cement, and Claire dresses everyone up so they can put on a really lame play.
Mini Golfing and Goodbyes: On the last day before Matt goes to college in England, the cast spends a day in a park near a mini golf course. Claire and Nikitas take the next step in their relationship, while Kathryn and Matt deal with the prospect of being seperated for three months.
Matt, Irish Pubs, and Long Distance Phone Calls: While following Matt through his depressed time in England and France, we also see how the rest of the cast is dealing with Matt being away. In the end of the episode, Matt comes to the monumental descion that he will give up Oxford to return to America.
Homecoming: Everyone welcomes Matt back to the US and prepare for the upcoming dance. During the dance, Claire and Sean's feelings for one another coming into light.
Seven Days: Hmm... this episode doesn't seem to have been aired.
The Week of Hell: While Sean and Emily's relationship is in jepordy, the possiblility of Sean and Claire dating becomes more and more real. After a week on confusion, Sean decideds to stay with Emily. In the conclusion, Claire and Nikitas break up on friendly terms.
Get Over It: Sean makes a remark to Andi that causes both her and Emily to think he still likes her. Andi stops talking to him. This adds to the drama with Emily and Sean and they almost break up. Meanwhile, Matt takes the last steps in completly getting over Krystyna.
Giant Leaps: In a sudden revilation, Sean decides he's gay. Emily and Sean break up while the rest of the group deals with the surprise. They come to realize it doesn't make much of a difference. The episode ends with the stunning conclusion that Sean isn't really gay.
Falling Backwards: The second part of Giant Leaps, this episode goes back through Giant Leaps and tells the story from Sean, Emily, and Beth's perspectives. In the present, Claire, Kat, Matt, Andi, and everybody else deal with their anger at being lied to. Friendships are at risk and the fate of the group hangs in the balance...
