Html Help From Me To You!

-A lot of people have been thrilled with my Xanga layout! They asked me a lot of questions, and I was like, I think everybody could be helped by me also, and not only them! So here it is! See the "Moving text" up in the header? That's called a marquee.

Up in the text box is just a simple marquee. You can also move it right, just by putting: behavior=scroll direction="right"

Other Interesting things you can do with a marquee are:

-Make it scroll in a colored box! Here's An Example:

You Can also Make it go up and down, just by putting in for the behavior="up" or behavior="down"!

To change the speed, type in the number you want where the number "2" is. The higher the number, the faster it qoes, lower the number, the slower it goes! It's that easy!

Changing Fonts, Colors, And Effects of Text:

Easy Stuff First! How To Change Sizes! For Example:

This Is Header One

Header One, or H1 is the highest size your text can go. To make your text this size, copy and paste whats in the text box onto your html section of the web page.

The Higher the number (It can only go up to seven) the smaller your text will be! Now, onto the next thing!

Example!

To change the font, where "courier" is, put whatever style you like!

Changing Colors Is A Little Harder. People with a xanga, like I have are greatful to have a color chart, so when I'm working on that I dont have much of a problem needing to memorize their numbers.

Heres Some Examples!

Dark Pink! #be1e56 Yellow! #ffff00
Light Blue! #777bef! Brown! #996633!
Green! #669933! Grey! #999999!
Purple! #9966cc! Orange! #ff9900!
Dark Blue! #003399! Light Pink! #ffccff!

-Also, to make black, type in #000000 and for white it is #ffffff.

Making Lines Is Easy!

^ That up there of course, is a line. Lines are a quick way to organize things on your web page. To make the same exact line on your page, copy and paste the code below.

Feel free to use the previous color examples to customize your line. The larger the percentile, the longer your line will be, the larger the size, the thicker your line will be and vice versa.

The line in the code is automatically centered. To aline it to the right side, put in between the brackets after the color: align="left" for left, and align="right" for right.

You also may wonder how come if you hit the enter button in your html section to create a new line it doesnt come out. To make a new paragraph, copy and paste whats in the text box:
