Mysterious Trails

14 pics of trails, found last February in the fresh fallen snow in my garden. We noticed them at about 8 am, but we weren't able to trace their origin. They went in a circle through the garden, up to the porch window, and back.
Nobody could tell yet - what caused them?
The distance between the single tracks is about 1.5 ft. There was no snow in the tracks. We saw at least four claws in front of a track. But we don't have any big wild animals here...
