This rocket is build like an Estes Fat Boy but has nine superbright LEDs. Each fin has a yellow LED on the leading edge pointed toward the body, a red LED at the far tip of the trailing edge of the fin pointed down at about a 45-degree angle, and a green LED mounted parallel to the body at the root of the fin. |

| Payload: Mk-I RLB Night launch. Beautiful
flight. Nice strobe effect as it spun and drifted overhead. I saw the entire flight.
A tracking transmitter was also on-board, just in case the lighting failed.

| Shot off to the east, probably due
to rod whip. Gene Nowaczyk (TRA 5430) helped search but we didn't find it. Kevin
Trojanowski (TRA 8103) found it about a quarter mile farther than we had searched --
about 25 feet from a pond.

| Weathercocked quite a bit. The nose

| The launch rail helps but it still
twists a bit going up, probably due to the off-center mass.
