Comments
This rocket is build like an Estes Fat Boy but has nine superbright LEDs. Each fin has a yellow LED on the leading edge pointed toward the body, a red LED at the far tip of the trailing edge of the fin pointed down at about a 45-degree angle, and a green LED mounted parallel to the body at the root of the fin.

SLRA, Elsberry, MO Payload: Mk-I RLB Night launch. Beautiful flight. Nice strobe effect as it spun and drifted overhead. I saw the entire flight. A tracking transmitter was also on-board, just in case the lighting failed.

Tripoli Nebraska, Pickrell, NE Shot off to the east, probably due to rod whip. Gene Nowaczyk (TRA 5430) helped search but we didn't find it. Kevin Trojanowski (TRA 8103) found it about a quarter mile farther than we had searched -- about 25 feet from a pond.
